Waxing
The best results always come from trusting Vinnie & June Brow and Grooming Bar to maintain your brow shape and not tweezing or trimming your brows in between appointments. This will help to avoid disrupting the shape and allow the full cycle of hair growth so that you get maximum results.
For all waxing, within the first 24 hours, it is best to:
- Avoid heated treatments, moisture and steam (sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, hot showers/baths, yoga, or exercise that produces a lot of sweat).
- Avoid exposure to the sun or UV lights (tanning beds, etc.).
- No scratching and touching the treated area with unwashed hands.
- Avoid applying anything perfumed or make-up to the waxed area.
- No other facial beauty treatments or exfoliation.
- Avoid retinoids/vitamin A.
Lash Lifts/Brow Lamination
In the first 24-48 hours:
- Avoid steam (hot showers, working out, saunas, etc) and getting your lashes wet.
- Avoid using cosmetics or any other products.
- Avoid rubbing your eyes.
Sleep on your back to avoid the lash/brow hair getting bent or scrunched. Within this time frame the curl/straightening is still setting in and the hair is more flexible.
Tinting and Henna
In the first 24 hours after your service, avoid the following:
- Heated treatments (steam, hot showers, saunas, hot yoga, etc.)
- Eyebrow makeup
- Sunlight/tanning beds
- Swimming pools
- Perfumed products
Do not clean the treated area for at least 12 hours after your service.
Please note that oil-based skin care products and oil-based makeup remover will cause the tint/henna to fade faster. Exposure to the sun or UV lights for long periods of time can cause tint/henna to fade faster.
Remember that tint/henna will fade faster on oily skin types.
